I have exciting news!!!
A week and a half ago, Patrick got down on one knee....and asked my sister to marry him!
We have hardly been able to take a breath since then, but we all love her and love him and love both of them together, and couldn't be more happy for them!
My prayer is that as they grow closer together, they will grow closer to the One who created marriage as well. He knew their thoughts and dreams and orchestrated their lives in ways bigger than we know or can imagine. Praise be to Him!

Beach walks, glen roads, sand, ice cream, the little stone church, hymn sings, family, laughing, blueberries, cherry point market, the lighthouse....the perfect vacation :).
Here are a few pictures from our trip - they don't convey how special the trip was by any means, but they're a start!
(By the way, sorry for the lateness of the post. The past weeks have been so crazy!! With road trips, learning how to sail, wedding photography {and all the work that comes after the weddings!}, Heidi being on break, and just helping around the house, I've had trouble keeping up with everything! Hopefully I'll do a better job now, but you never know :).)
