| Patrick and Heidi |

Here are some of the pictures from Heidi's wedding!  And I want to clarify again that I was not the photographer.....Rachel and Elizabeth were :).  I just took these on my own at the end.

These first pictures are from right after the reception when things were winding down.  Kayla, Sarah and I went down to a little shed near the barn that looked like a fun place to take pictures - and it was!

I love these girls so much! :)

The rest are pictures of Patrick and Heidi together...the now Mr. and Mrs. Lewis :)

Congratulations P+H!!  I can't wait to see you two again, and hope you have a great time in Hawaii!!!

Patrick and Heidi | Sneak Peek

I've sat here for a long time now, trying to come up with the perfect words to describe such a perfect day.  Yet they evade me.  What is it I'm trying to describe, you ask?  A wedding.  The wedding.  The day we, my sister and family and I, have been talking of and dreaming of and planning for the last nine months.  Or has it been all of our lives?

On Saturday, my sister got married.  Heidi, the one I've laughed with the hardest, cried with the most, talked to for hours and hours and hours, and done nothing and everything with, my one and only sister and best friend.  She and I have done everything together for as long as I can remember.  She is the one I looked up to and followed, she is the one I admired and adored, and she is the one I wanted to be like 'when I grew up'.

It is so strange to think that she is married now.  Yet I couldn't imagine anyone better for her than Patrick.  I love her so much, I love him, and I really love both of them together!

Although I was in the wedding and (gladly!) wasn't able to be the photographer as well, I did manage to get a few of my own pictures after Rachel and Elizabeth were done.  Here's a sneak peek...more pictures are to come :).

spring

Well, hello!  It's been quite some time since I've written on this sadly forsaken blog, and I do apologize for the neglect.  How busy life can get!  Other things have occupied my mind recently, like the upcoming marriage of my sister and all the wonderful details and busyness surrounding it.  I cannot wrap my mind around the fact that in five days she and I will no longer share the same last name....

But I'll leave that topic for another day and another post.

Right now I want to leave you with a whole bunch of pictures that I've taken all throughout these lovely spring days.  I know there are a lot, but since I won't be able to post very often in the next week or two, I thought I'd put them all on now!

Spring is such a lovely time to remember that God's promises never return empty-handed, but are always so perfectly and completely fulfilled.  I was encouraged today by a post from a fellow photographer, Sarah, who included a quote from a book of puritans' prayers.  It reminded me that our God is a God to be wholly trusted, for He is wholly true.

I hope these pictures give you yet another reason to praise Him!
