Complaining

"Do everything without complaining or arguing, so that you may become blameless and pure, children of God without fault in a crooked and depraved generation, in which you shine like stars in the universe as you hold out the word of life...." (Philippians 2:14-16)

I was just thinking - how often do we complain or argue every single day? If you think about it, it is probably a ridiculously high number. Isn't that how we are not supposed to be? How can we shine God's light when we are not acting any differently than the world? If the world looks at us and sees that we are complaining as much as everyone else, will that make them want to follow Jesus? No! Isn't that so sad? We need to stop complaining and start rejoicing so we can shine like stars in the universe, and also so we can show people what following Jesus is really like!!
